Healthy Village Approach at World Water Week

During World Water Week in August, we were in Stockholm hosting three presentations on the impact of our integrated approach.

One of the three sessions was one hosted by SIWI itself, on how work nutrition can help us reach our SDG goals (clean water and santitation). Our Country Director for Bangladesh Riad Imam Mahmud was invited to explain how the Healthy Village Approach does just that. Another session was hosted by Right2Grow, about how we need to amplify local voices to create impact in access to WASH and nutrition.

In the video below you’ll find the entire presentation hosted by Max Foundation and Plan International, in which our Data and Monitoring expert Remco Geervliet shows and explains the data behind our most recent results: a 50% decrease of stunting in our programme areas in Bangladesh!

Besides the presentation, you’ll find the audience Q&A and interviews with people in our programme areas in Ethiopia, as well as the State Minister for the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia.
