Since 2016, we work with local partner organisations, supported by our team in Bangladesh, to bring our approach to Nepali communities.
Over one in three children in Nepal are stunted, significantly higher than the worldwide average of around 21%. Poverty and child mortality are high, and many families lack access to basic services such as clean water and sanitation.
Max Foundation is running a 4-year health programme in rural Nepal, targeting 19,200 people across 5,400 households. It aims to reduce child stunting from 35% to 25% by 2029 through nutrition, WASH, and community-led health initiatives.
